What does being a CSA mean?
The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) educates and certifies professionals who work with seniors. In order to maintain the CSA certification, individuals must pass exams and demonstrate a commitment to high standards, continuing education, professional ethics, and trust. This sets the CSA credential holder apart from other practitioners working with older adults.
Compass Senior Living Solutions’ principle advisor Bill Muir is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Over 3,100 professionals across the U.S. are currently certified and meet all criteria for holding the CSA designation.
To be a CSA, Bill completed extensive coursework and passed an exam on topics including:
• Chronic Conditions among Older Adults
• Financial Planning for Retirement
• Federal Income Taxes and Older Adults
• Practical, Everyday Ethics in Serving Older Clients
• Medicare/Medicaid and Older Adults
These are just a few of the MANY courses in the Curriculum that make Compass a HIGHLY qualified resource for seniors.
