Jennifer Buckles is a Certified Senior Advisor on the Compass Senior Living Solutions team. She has a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies in Gerontology. She has over 30 years experience in coordinating care options and care solutions for seniors and their families. Her experience includes over 20 years experience as a Home Care Administrator in private duty, home health, and hospice with 5 years in assisted living, and the rest being rounded out in hospital and physician clinic operations and community education.
Jennifer seeks opportunities to serve seniors and their families to find the best care solutions. Jennifer, along with the Compass team, strives to leave no stone unturned when working with seniors and their families seeking safe, comfortable care options for those in need.
Jennifer has lived in the Edmond area since 1995. She loves the opportunity to travel and has managed to visit 46 out of the 50 states. She jumps at any opportunity to travel with her children and loves those long road trips on the wide open road that take her to the next destination.
Cheryl Beaver serves as an Advisor for Compass Senior Living Solutions. She began working in the senior living industry in 2015 and knew very quickly she wanted to build a career serving seniors during this season of her life. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications Consultancy from Oklahoma State University. Her experience includes previous Co-Owner and Vice President of Business Development for a Private Duty Home Care company, Director of Sales in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community, Therapeutic Activity Programs Coordinator in a Memory Care community and Senior Placement in the Dallas area before relocating to Oklahoma City in 2022.
Cheryl considers it a privilege and joy to be an advocate and walk alongside her clients and their families to help navigate care through such a challenging time. She relocated to Oklahoma City recently after living in Plano, Texas for over 30 years and is loving reconnecting with her family who live locally. She has 4 four children who all live in different states except the youngest who is currently attending Oklahoma State University.
Dee Edwards is one of the Compass Senior Living Solutions Senior Advisors. Her knowledge and life experience has given her a unique ability to help walk families, friends, and clients through this journey. She studied social work at Shepherd University and quickly discovered a love for seniors while working in Adult Protective Services. Dee has a decade of senior health care services experience as a caregiver, client coordinator, operations manager, regional manager, and Oklahoma Home Care Administrator before joining the Compass team in 2022.
Her vast experience and work in multiple states and regions of the United States has given her a unique cultural awareness in working with seniors in many stages of their journeys. Dee lives southwest of Oklahoma City in the Tri-City area with her many four-legged friends. And, She spends her “free time” on remodeling and outdoor projects which she says is her way to relax and decompress.
Bill Muir is a Certified Senior Advisor and is an endorsed member of the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association (OKALA.) His knowledge and experience have enabled him to assist seniors and their families in finding the best possible care and housing for over a decade.
Having lost his mother to Alzheimer’s in 2017, Bill is keenly aware of the emotional and financial challenges that face families when a Senior loved one needs care. He has a passion for helping families and is honored to assist them through the process of finding the best Senior Living Solution.
Bill is a graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He is a Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam conflict aboard The USS Enterprise in the Pacific.
Following a successful career in medical sales, Bill entered the Senior Care industry in 2008. He served as Director of Marketing for several Senior Care communities in the Oklahoma City area. In this role, he has assisted hundreds of seniors in finding the best placement in Independent, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing settings.
Bill lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Karen. They have 5 grown children and 9 grandchildren. He enjoys spending free time with family and friends at Lake Tenkiller.
